How do I transfer data from old iPad to new iPad?
I have many data entries in my 1Password now on my older iPad. I have purchased a new iPad and wish to transfer my data entries from the old iPad to the new iPad. How do I do this?
I do not have a Windows version of the software. However, I might consider purchasing the Windows version, if that is the best way for me to backup or sync my entries. Nor am I familiar with various cloud options.
What do you suggest?
1Password Version: 6.1.2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: IOS 9.2
Sync Type: ?

I do backups of my iPad to my PC through iTunes. Does this work if I do a "restore" to my new iPad?

Hi @JAMotter,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. We don't typically recommend relying on device backups for 1Password data. They haven't proven to be incredibly reliable. Instead 1Password has its own backup/restore function built-in. You can read about that here:
Creating and restoring 1Password backups in iTunes (iOS) - 1Password Support
If you'd like to setup syncing you can read about that here:
Sync | 1Password for iOS
It is possible with either iCloud or Dropbox to sync the two iPads without the use of a computer. For your situation though I would recommend Dropbox, as that is the only method that'll allow both the iPads and the Windows PC to all sync with each other. Wi-Fi sync is also an option but the iPads cannot sync with each other -- only through the PC.
If you do go the sync route I would still recommend making the occasional backup using the instructions from my first link above. :)
I hope that helps!
Ben
