1Password Update fails. After Upgrade to El Capitan fields are blank
Hi. I have been trying to update 1Password for some time now so I can use the mobile sync feature. It has always failed and I have not had time to deal with it. However after updating to El Capitan the app is crashing at times and when I edit a field it is completely white. I can type and paste and the data is there, but when I'm editing the field I can't see what I'm doing. That along with the fact there are crashes is starting to make me nervous. I know my version is old, but I need help becoming current. Please advise.
1Password Version: 3.8.21
Extension Version: I don't use extensions
OS Version: 10.11.1
Sync Type: None yet

Hi @pwarnagi,
I'm sorry you've been having trouble with 1Password 3, as well as upgrading to a newer version!
It sounds like you're having one or more of the problems described in this forum announcement, which is currently posted at the very top of the 1Password 3 for Mac forum: 1Password 3: Modern browsers and OS X
If you'd like to upgrade to 1Password 5, the process should be extremely simple. To upgrade your license, you can visit our Upgrade Store and enter your license code to see your discount and options. To upgrade the 1Password app to version 5, you just need to download it from our download site, unzip the downloaded file (if necessary), and move 1Password 5.app to the Applications folder. The first time you open 1Password 5, it should find your data from 1Password 3.
I hope that helps, but if you have more questions, please let us know. :)
