Default set of vaults
Hi,
whenever I start 1Password on my iPhone it shows me the contents of all vaults combined. But I am usually only interested in one (the primary) vault. This makes the favorites list and search less useful, because they get cluttered with the contents of vaults I don't want to look at. Assuming I haven't missed an existing configuration option, would it be possible to add one that allows me to choose a particular vault (or even set of vaults) as default when starting the application?
Best regards (and thanks for a great product!),
Markus

Hi @Markus73,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. At present there is no preference that can be set for the default view, and All Vaults is indeed the default. What you can do is change which vaults are included in the All Vaults view under
1Password > Settings > Vaults > All Vaults
Our development team is looking into the possibility of adding a preference of a default view.
Thanks!

Hi @bwoodruff,
thanks, this is actually already quite useful to me. I generally know which vault I want to search in so I'm fine with the "All Vaults" option being constrained to just the primary vault for now.
Here is an alternative solution that you might like. The "Vaults" button on top could show a list like:
Select all | Clear all | Done
- Vault 1
- Vault 2
- ...
If I press "Select all", the radio button next to each vault becomes selected, if I press "Clear all" they get all deselected. Pressing a radio button next to each vault flips its selection status. Once I'm happy with my selection, I press "Done". This should make it easy to select a view by inclusion or exclusion, whatever is faster. The last selection could then be saved between restarts of the app. That way there is no need for a configuration option in "Settings".

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be happy to pass it along to our development team. :)

@bwoodruff that is a strange workaround, but thank you! :-)
