Malformed URL error for valid modern url's including Scandinavian letters.

When using modern url's with Scandinavian letters (allowed for .dk domains), I get error messages from 1Password on both iOS and OS X.

It's seems like you try to validate the url's, but in the process of doing so, you limit the options.
An example is the site: ønskeskyen.dk

@tobiasdm: Sorry for the confusion! The frameworks that 1Password uses for URL handling with Safari on OS X and iOS do not support internationalized domain names themselves, but they do support IDNA encoding. You'll find that this URL works much better:

    https://xn--nskeskyen-k8a.dk/#!/

This is also how the browser extension will save the URL for ønskeskyen.dk when you save a login using 1Password for Mac. Additionally, you'll find that it works in Mobile Safari as well, so you can use the 1Password extension there. Alternatively, you can use Firefox or Chrome on OS X.

Hopefully we'll be able to find a workaround for Safari in the future. I hope this helps. Thanks for bringing it up! :)
