Sync Error Window
I can't seem to sync my iphone 5s with my Dell PC . Error window appears stating , "Sync Failed: there was a delay in syncing of 5 minutes that exceeded 5the maximum of 5 minutes." I use MS Security Essentials as my AV. Please help. Thanks.

It might be worth checking both your Dell and your iOS device to see if their time clocks are being correctly synced to a time server and that they are showing identical or practically identical times and both believe they are in the same time zone. If the two clocks have drifted apart that could be a cause of that message.
If you believe your anti-virus is possibly blocking some part of the syncing the first thing to do is confirm the hypothesis. Can you temporarily disable Microsoft Security Essentials please and see if syncing works. If it does we've isolated the cause and now we need to work on the fix :smile:

You were correct about the time being off. I synced the two clocks, the one from my Dell PC with the iPhone's and the problem was solved.
