iOS 1Pass - problem with band files
When I create an item from a Mac, it would show up on my other Macs and on iOS. When I create an item on iOS, only some items show up on my Macs.
I was reading over the opvault design https://support.1password.com/opvault-design/ and noticed my opvault container contains more than 16 band files. My container has band_c.js, band_C (1).js, band_C (2).js... Band d, e, and f. has the same extra files. I did a test by creating multiple items on iOS and Mac and noticed that the (1), (2) and so are only created / changed when I add an item from iOS. When an item is written into band_0-9.js, items would show up on the Mac side. Any items written to C-D usually goes to the (1), (2) and does not show up. I'm guessing that Mac is reading band_a-f.js and ignoring the extra files.

@ziggie216: This sounds like you may be syncing with a Windows device, since duplicates there will be renamed in that fashion:
file.txt
,file (1).txt
, etc. Is that correct? Alternatively, some other software may be doing this as well. That's my best guess at this point, since without some basic information it's hard to say! Please tell me all OS, 1Password, and device versions, and the sync method you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action.Any items written to C-D usually goes to the (1), (2) and does not show up. That's correct. 1Password will only read the valid OPVault contents, not extraneous files.

I think this might point to the source of the problem. Whatever sync method you use, conflicts are more likely to occur if you're making changes to the same file in multiple places at once. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to haring back from you! :)

@brenty
Macs - all on OS X 10.11.2, 1Password 5
iPhone - iOS 9.2, 1Password 6.1.2
No Windows OS in environment
Sync - DropboxI have already recreated dropbox database multiple of times due to a sync issue I had previously. During the test, items were created one at a time and let it dropbox sync before creating the next. Problem only seems to be happening to iOS version of 1Password.

Hi @ziggie216
I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.
—Mac—
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html—iOS—
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.htmlAttach the Diagnostics Reports to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Reports in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Reports in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the reports and ensure that this is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the reports we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
Ben
