Credit Card expiration dates don't display on iPhone or IPad although they are in Windows version. Why?

  • Hi @ccourim,

Thanks for taking the time to write in, but unfortunately I'm not sure I follow. I just checked both my iPhone (running 1Password for iOS 6.1.2) and my iPad (running the latest 6.2 beta) and both devices show the expiry date for all cards where I've entered one. I do have a couple cards that do not expire and of course on those I do not see the expiry field unless I go into edit mode.

Are you running v6.1.2 on your iPhone and iPad?

(iOS) Which version of 1Password am I running?

    Thanks.

    Ben

    Hi @ccourim,

Thanks for providing the version numbers. On iOS, is the expiry date field completely missing, or is it just empty (i.e., you see the expiry date field but there's no date in it)? Here's what it should look like, for reference:

Also, can you please check the sync settings and let us know if the iOS devices and Windows are both set to sync to the same file? And are you using Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, I have confirmed the correct file is getting sync'd. In fact, I only have one file and i tested updates.

Here's the Window Pic showing the Exp Date

Here's the iPad Pic showing the missing Exp Date

  • Thanks for confirming, @ccourim. Could you please try one other thing for me? Could you please try editing the credit cards on iOS and add the expiration date there? Do you then still seem them on Windows?

Ben- When I click edit I don't have the option to add expiration date.

  • Interesting. :) I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

    —Windows—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/win.html

Attach the Diagnostics Reports to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Reports in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Reports in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the reports and ensure that this is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the reports we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

    Ben
