How do I set up the fingerprint lock

Hi, I just got an IPhone 6 and want to keep all my passwords safe. I have followed the very limited instructions for setting the fingerprint lock. Am I missing something? Enable fingerprint under settings? And then what? When I try to unlock the app, it does not give me an option to use my fingerprint to unlock but goes straight to master password. Fingerprint setting has been enabled. Help please!!

    Hi @marylousnews!

We'd love to help you figure out what's going on here! Let's start with this: when you go to Settings > Security, what are your Lock On Exit, Auto-Lock, and Touch ID settings?

    Thanks!

    Hi Aleen,
Thanks for responding. When I go to settings, my options are: Lock on exit - On, Auto-lock -after10 minutes, and Touch ID settings-enabled. Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi @marylousnews!

Thanks for getting back to me :) Those settings should allow you to use Touch ID! Let's see if you can clear up what's gumming up the works by trying this:

    1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone
    2. Go to Touch ID & Passcode, then toggle off iPhone Unlock
    3. Turn off your phone (hold down the sleep/wake button on the right side, then use the slider to shut it down)
    4. Turn on your phone (hold down the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears)
    5. Launch the Settings app again, then go to Touch ID & Passcode and toggle on iPhone Unlock
    6. Launch 1Password, go to Settings > Security, and make sure Touch ID is enabled

Let us know if this helps!
