I'm sorry you're unable to open 1Password on your iPad! Because the problem is happening on your iPad, I've moved your message to our iOS forum. I hope you don't mind!
We'll be happy to help solve this, but we'll need to know a bit more about it. You said you can't open 1Password, but can you please elaborate? Are you trying to open the main 1Password app on the iPad, or are you trying to open the 1Password extension from Safari or another app? If you're unable to open the main app, can I assume you're doing that by tapping the app icon on your iPad's home screen? And if so, what exactly do you see when you tap it? Does anything happen at all? Do you get any error messages? Does the 1Password app open, but crashes when you try to unlock it?
The more details you can give us, the better. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm in a jam but probably haven't enough time to get this resolved. We leave for Europe tomorrow (Saturday p.m.) and taking iPad along. It's bad that I cannot get into 1Password. If there is any chance of help tomorrow morning it might help a lot.
Thanks for response.

@haddonklingbergjr: We'll do whatever we can to help! Unfortunately without some basic information it's impossible to say what might be going wrong and how we might right it! Please tell me the OS, 1Password, and device versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action.
The more information you can give, the better. For instance, have you simply forgotten your Master Password (hopefully temporarily)? (Un)fortunately AgileBits has neither your 1Password data nor the Master Password used to secure it, so this isn't something we can 'reset' for you to help directly. However, please try the tips in this guide as they may help you gain access again:
Master Password not accepted
If that doesn't help though, you will need to either restore from a backup, sync from another device, or simply start over. Please let me know how it turns out. I look forward to hearing back from you!
However, you're posting in the iOS category of the forums and talking about your iPad, but the information you provided in the first post seems to be for 1Password for Mac.
If you want to use 1Password on your iPad, you'll need to install it there if you haven't already done so:
1Password for iOS
And then if you want to access the same vault you're using on the Mac on your iPad as well, you'll need to sync the data — otherwise you'll have a separate vault on each device:
Dropbox Sync setup
And of course, none of this may apply to your situation, but I wanted to at least make an educated guess as to what you might be struggling with. If you can answer the questions that Drew asked in his reply originally as well as my own, it may go a long way toward giving us a sense of what needs to done to get things working the way you want. Thanks in advance! :)
