Cannot enable iOS browser extension (no option to do so in More... menu)
I am unable to see the iOS browser extension option, and so I cannot enable it. In other words, there is no option to switch on the 1Password extension on the "More..." [Activities] screen.
- 1Password is completely set up and synched to my iCloud. Running fine aside from this issue.
- I have tried following the directions on https://support.1password.com/ios-extension-not-visible/ and on https://support.1password.com/guides/ios/enable-extension.htm. Cannot complete as the option isn't there.
- I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 1Password to no avail.
- I did not have this issue on my previous phone (iPhone 6).
- This issue DID occur on the previous version of the 1Password iOS App (before today's v6.2 release).
Can you help me enable this?
1Password Version: 6.2
Extension Version: 4.4.3
OS Version: iOS 9.2
Sync Type: iCloud

Interesting. Thanks @me2000. I'd like to see if there is anything coming up in 1Password's logs that might indicate why this is happening. To get a look under the hood I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostic report for us, please:
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html
Then attach the entire file to an email to us:
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

@me2000: Ah, no problem! I just wanted to make sure I mentioned that right off the bat, as it's come up in the past and I'd hate for you to suffer through this if it there was an easy solution. We'll get this sorted out for you! :)
Edit: But looking at your screenshot, it also seems weird to me that there aren't _any apps that can be toggled there. It may be that you don't have any, but I certainly have a lot so it just jumped out at me..._

@brenty: Interesting point. Could you name a free app with a similar extension, for me to see if the issue reproduces there?
@bwoodruff: Logs uploaded; Support ID number [#HWB-35354-317]. Note that this morning I upgraded to iOS 9.3 Beta in an attempt to see if that would fix the issue (it didn't). You may see that iOS version in the logs, but regardless, I had the same issue in iOS 9.2.

Hello everyone!
Could you name a free app with a similar extension, for me to see if the issue reproduces there?
You can try using Firefox for iOS. However, the code path for third party applications is a bit different than the one we use for Safari.
Please make sure that the URL in Safari is not "about:blank", we are currently investigating this issue (OPI-3135). Please go to any other website (apple.com, amazon.com, etc.) and try to enable the extension. Does it work now?
Hope that this helps
Best,
Rad

@Rad: I have the same issue when using Firefox's browser. I tried to enable the extension while on amazon.com's login page, as well as login.yahoo.com.
But actually my question was different. I want to see if the problem is on the iOS side (rather than 1Password-specific). I did find another app that has a similar Extension: Microsoft Translator. Since I encountered the same issue with the Microsoft Translator extension, I can conclude that the issue lies with my iOS. I will pursue the investigation on that side. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the follow up @me2000 :+1:
Now that you mention that you've been experiencing similar issues with Microsoft Translator, I too suspect that it may be an iOS issue, but I do not want to easily dismiss it. I want to learn more about it so I figure out a way to fix it (if possible) or around it.
Please do keep us posted.
Cheers!
