Getting iMac and iPhone to use the same app password
To date all the suggested attempts to get 1PW to use the same password in the same app on the iMac and the iPhone haven't been successful. Because of this glitch I'm not using my phone for any apps except for DropBox. DB is the app I'm using to test suggestions for this problem. Support has even suggested I manually copy the passwords used by the iMac.
I did this with DB after I changed the password to something simple I was able to get them both to have the same password. This won't work, nor is it acceptable, for the 1PW generated password for my bank as it is very long (strong).
To the best of my knowledge it isn't possible to manually copy the passwords.
It is my belief that when the phone is synced with the desktop that information should automatically populate.
At this point I'm afraid, for lack of a better word, to do anything else.

Hi @DarbyN,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'd like to "take a look under the hood" and see what is happening with sync on your Mac and iOS device. Please create a diagnostic report from each device. Instructions can be found here:
-- iOS --
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html-- Mac --
https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.htmlThen attach each file to an email to us:
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Reports in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email(s), along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Reports in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can quickly track down the reports and ensure that they are dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the reports we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
Ben
