updater continues to ask to install update after already having done so
updater continues to ask to install update after already having done so. I keep getting the prompt to install update to 5.4.3, even though I have already done so. The nearest topic support articles fails to load.

I'm getting this too - my version is 5.4.3 and its asking me to update to 6.0.1 repeatedly. The update box for 6.0.1 says that 'there have been 2 updates since you last updated' - which i'm not sure is true as I always apply them. How do I get out of this update loop please?

Hi @chrisb911,
So you say your version is 5.4.3 and it keeps asking you to update. Doesn't that make sense since the latest version is indeed 6.0.1?
I would recommend you quit 1Password and 1Password mini from the menu. Then locate all your versions of 1Password and move them to the trash, and then download the newest version of 1Password from our webstore. After installing that you should have the latest version of the software.

yeah - the issue was that it keeps asking me to update.. It recognises there is an update to 6.0.1, from 5.4.3 and suggests I install it (which I do). It restarts and then repeats the same thing having not updated.
Is that the solution? delete everything and start again? Will it remember my settings? Seems like a pain

Hi @chrisb911,
There' no need to delete everything, but it does sound like you have version 5.4.3 and version 6 on your Mac right now. Can you check your Applications folder? If you see "1Password 5" and "1Password 6", please delete the 1Password 5 app only, restart, and launch 1Password 6. It should then stop asking you to update. If you don't have 1Password 6 in your applications folder, you can download it here: https://agilebits.com/downloads
If you have any trouble with the above, please let us know.
