How do I identify exactly what version I'm using?

This is on an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4.1. I have 1Password Pro.

I'm trying to figure out what version I have. In 1Password/Settings/, under the option to recommend the app, it says Version 5.5. I emailed myself the diagnostics report from Advanced. That also says Version 5.5.

But when I go to the App Store on the phone and look at the Purchased tab, it indicates I have version 6.2 and does not offer to upgrade. When I tap on the Open button next to this entry in the App Store, it opens the same one that tells me it's version 5.5.

I have searched the phone to make sure there are no other instances of the app installed. I have read the the support topic "how to find 1Password version?" and it says to look under the Recommended button, which in my case tells me I have 5.5.

Just wondering, is this because perhaps 5.5 is the highest version that will work on iOS 8, and if I go ahead and upgrade to iOS 9 it will let me have 6.2?

The reason I'm asking is that I do have one shared vault, and I want to make sure if I upgrade to iOS 9 it's not going to mess that up. If Dropbox syncing is unaffected for different users who are on various flavors of Mac OS and iOS 1P 5 and 6, it's all good.

    Hi @cavenewt,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. iOS is not offering you 1Password 6.2 as an update because you are running iOS 8, which is only capable of running 1Password 5. You'd need to upgrade to iOS 9 to get 1Password 6 for iOS.

    Dropbox sync continues to work with iOS 9 & 1Password 6. :)

    That said it would be a great idea to make a backup before making any major changes. Backup 1Password:

    Thanks, Ben, I pretty much figured out that that's what was going on. I would still like to confirm that if I'm sharing a vault via dropbox with someone who might be on the Mac 1password Version 5.X or the iOS version 5.X, and I upgrade to version 6, that should not affect our syncing with each other?

    Correct. :) The sharing is done by Dropbox, not 1Password.
