Upgraded to 1password6 and system came up wrong vault and dropbox. How do I restore?
Upgrade put a question mark in icon in dock. Using finder I copied the 1password6 app to the dock and when the app came up the data was from an earlier vault. I am concerned that if I leave the app loaded it will sync with dropbox and all my vault files will be wrong.
Do I have to delete and reinstall 1password6? Where are the vault files stored so that I can restore them from my time capsule backups?

Hi @GeorgeGibson,
It sounds like you may have more than one set of 1Password data on your computer. Before upgrading to 1Password 6 from our website, were you running 1Password 5 from the Mac App Store? If so, this guide should help you migrate your data to the website version. The guide has not yet been updated to reflect version 6 (that's in progress) but the process outlined there should still work the same.
If you've never used the Mac App Store version, were you syncing your previous 1Password data to Dropbox? If so, you can set up Dropbox sync in 1Password 6 and it will sync the changes so that you see the newest version of your vault (Dropbox sync is smart like that). It will let you know if it detects any conflicts.
I hope this helps, but please do let us know if you get stuck with any of this or have any other questions. We're here for you. :)
