I recently switched to a new Apple ID. I would like to restore the Pro Features.

I recently switched to a new Apple ID, so as to have one separate from that of my family. I was the original owner of the first Apple ID, but everyone kind of took over on it, so I started my own. I purchased the Pro Features on my old Apple ID, and I would like to have them on my new one too. Is there any way you could activate them on my new account without me having to purchase them again?

@damonbogetti - The licensing of applications from Apple is strictly under Apple's control. and they have never allowed transferring a license from one Apple ID to another. They also won't permit merging Apple IDs owned by the same individual, even when they are accidentally created. They won't let users who change countries move their licenses to their new location either. You probably know that they don't allow family sharing for in-app purchases. I'm speaking from personal experience, not in any official capacity. And those policies are particularly user-unfriendly, IMO.

You are welcome to approach Apple for help, and I hope they will help you. But only Apple could do that. If you succeed, please post back here with your victory. AgileBits won't be able to help, I'm afraid, although I know they would if they were allowed.

Indeed, unfortunately App Store purchases are non-transferrable, so switching Apple IDs (as opposed to simply changing the email address used for the account) means leaving behind whatever app, music, book, and video purchases made there. Apple's Family Sharing can help fill that gap, but unfortunately it does not (yet?) support in-app purchases at all. Perhaps that will change someday.
