iCloud sync on iphone. Won't merge with existing vault
I've got 1 Password on 2 computers and an iPad. Works great and all syncing on those devices is via iCloud. But I can't get 1 password on the iPhone (never been used on the phone) to "merge" with existing vault instead my only option is to "set up new vault". I've toggled iCloud off and on on the phone. But since 1 password is so important to me I don't want to screw all my other devices up by going to extreme measures. Can you help?!
1Password Version: 6.2.1
Extension Version: 4.4.3
OS Version: OS X 10.10.5
Sync Type: iCloud

Hi @Wysunrise,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty using iCloud. If you have never used 1Password on your iPhone then you can simply uninstall and reinstall it. Then when you launch it for the first time it'll prompt you how you'd like to sync, or if you'd like to set up a new vault. You'll want to select the sync existing data option and select to sync with iCloud.
Thanks!

Thanks for the response, Ben. I tried what I think you suggested. I removed the 1Password app from the phone, reinstalled it and pressed "sync existing vault". Then "sync with iCloud". Then 1Password found existing data in iCloud but the message still says "it will be used to create a new vault on this iPhone." My choice is to cancel or continue. Am I missing something? Should I just continue and let it create a new vault? Thanks for the help.

Sorry if the wording there is confusing. Yes, you want to continue there, not cancel. 1Password for iOS will create a vault on your iOS device then sync the data from iCloud into that vault. It'll then continue to sync that vault with iCloud whenever any changes are made on your iOS device or in iCloud (from another 1Password enabled device).
Thanks!

My situation is a bit different but related. I have 2 ios devices with different iCloud users for me and my wife. Using shared iTunes acct so the Pro version is showing installed on both with single purchase. It appears our versions won't synch through ICloud however. . I assume because we have different versions of the iCloud backup? Suggestions on how We can share the actual synch file? Thx great app be the way.

Hi @lserve,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. iCloud does not allow data to be synced between separate Apple IDs / iCloud accounts. You would either need to use the same account on both devices (probably not ideal) or use a different sync method. I'd recommend Dropbox:
Sync with Dropbox | 1Password for iOS
I hope that helps!
