1Password 6.01 not working

Hello,

I get no opening window (Vault) when I try to open the new 1Password update. When I click on 1Password in the menu bar, I get the spinning beachball, and have to force quit the application. The mini-application in the menu bar seems to work properly. Previous versions of 1Password worked fine on my system (27" iMac , late 2012 with 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 and 16 GB ram, OS X 10.11.2). Any suggestions?

    Hi @donmayo,

    Do you have any other copies of 1Password on your system? If so, it might be a mismatch (i.e. you are running an older version of 1Password mini, but a newer version of the main app). Do a search and remove any older copies, and try it again. Note, you should quit 1Password mini before trying again, to make sure the copy that you want launches.

    Please let us know how that works out.

    Hi Kevin,

    Adding the string in the Terminal seemed to do the trick. I went ahead and upgraded to OS X 10.11.3 and iPW Extension 4.5.2, and all seems to be back to working correctly. Thanks for your help.
