Removing icloud data without logging into app

I had the app which I had set up some time ago but never used. I recently bought the desktop version and realized i have no clue what the master password is. When I try to set it up as new it sees the old information on icloud and won't let me get past that part of the set up. I just want to ditch that data and start over.
