In the last two version updates, it appears support for TextExpander has disappeared. Is this true?

Hello,

TextExpander no longer functions within 1Password for Mac for me. TE works as normal in all other applications, and I've communicated with TE support and ensured I have all their preferences correctly checked.

Has the ability to use TextExpander been removed, or is there something happening with 1Password on my computer specifically?

    Hi scottwslavin,

    In the latest version, we enabled an option known as Secure Text Input when making edits in 1Password. This blocks other applications from listening in on what is being typed into 1Password, and is an important new level of security. Applications such as TextExpander rely on listening to keyboard typing in the background, and they will no longer function when typing into 1Password.

    I'm sorry TextExpander is no longer usable from within 1Password, but I hope that the extra security is worth it.
