I have purchased 1Password for iOS through iTunes. What is needed to use Android also?

How can I use 1Password on my iOS devices and give my wife access to the same features using her Android device? Is this possible, if so what do I need to do to make it happen?

@brv2 - Since licenses for 1Password are provided on a per person and per platform basis, if your wife wants to use the Android version, she would need to download it at Google Play. It's free to use fully for 30 days, but it requires a purchase to keep it fully active after that. If it isn't licensed after 30 days, if reverts to being only a reader of the 1Password data. No editing or adding new records.

    Hi @brv2,

As usual, hawkmoth is exactly right :) 1Password for iOS and Android are separate purchases. 1Password for Android is free to try for 30 days, then can act as a reader after 30 days if you decide not to purchase.

@brv2 - Which application are you wanting to use with Family Sharing? It's available for the desktop versions.

For Mac, if you buy from the AgileBits web store, you may install your single user license on all the Macs that as many as six family members living in the same household use. The same applies to the Windows version, but that is a separate purchase from the Mac version. There is a Mac-Windows bundle sold on the AgileBits web store that discounts the total price, if you need both Mac and Windows.

If you buy your Mac license from Apple's Mac App Store, it is eligible for Apple's Family Sharing. You would set that up through Apple and include you and your wife in the same family group. Apple's directions for doing that are found at this link.

Family Sharing is not available for the in-app purchases needed to activate the Pro features in iOS (Apple's policy, not AgileBits's) or to use the Android version beyond the 30-day trial, except as a reader only.
