Hi @claus2016,
To change the Master Password you must first login with the old Master Password, allow the data to sync, log out, and then login with the new Master Password. There shouldn't be any need to delete any files.
Thanks.

Hi Ben,
unfortunately, this didnt work. I still have 1PW on my Macbook with the new Masterpassword, which is not accepted by may ios devices. Should I delete the IOS apps (incl Data) and sync new? Would that help?
Regards, Olf0 -
Hi Olf,
Yes, so long as you don't have any unsynced data stored in the iOS app that would be a reasonable solution. :)
Please let us know how it turns out.

Hi Ben, thank you. I tried, but now even more confused: After deleting the ios app, reloaded the app and synchronized with icloud, I have now two passwords working on the same tresor: one on my macbook, another one (the old one) on my ipad. It is the same tresor (i checked it). Is this normal?
Thank you, Olaf0 -
@claus2016: I'm sorry for the trouble you're having with the Master Password!
However, due to an issue with iCloud Sync and 1Password for Mac this is not possible at this time. We're investigating the issue and hope to have a fix for this. In the mean time, you can change the Master Password on your iPhone (in 1Password Settings > Security > Change Master Password) to make it match. That way you'll be able to use the same one on both devices to avoid confusion.
Again, I'm sorry you ran into this issue. Hopefully the development team will be able to come up a with a solution, but in the mean time this should get things working better for you. I hope this helps! :)

So that would mean, that 1password should be renamed 2password in my case?

Not after you change the Master Password on your iPhone to match your Mac. ;)
