Clear clipboard after predefined time doesn't work

Hi,

Software/Hardware:
I'm running IOS 9.2.1 with 1Password 6.2.2 on an IPhone 6s.

Settings:

  • clipboard clear timer to 30sec (tested with others as well).
  • 1Password automatic locking after 1 min (tested with immediately as well)

Observations:

  • when I copy a password and change the app (double tap on home-button OR single tap and opening an app) it remains in the clipboard until I copy manually something else
  • doesn't depend on the app I'm pasting it to, tested with different third party as well as apple apps
  • locking 1Password works as expected (immediately or after 1 minute)

I've found similar entries here in the forum but no fix up until now.
Could you please clarify how the behavior should be and if there is a fix?

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. The latest information on this issue can be found here:

    In short we are aware of some difficulties with this feature, and at this point its future is uncertain. We will try to make it work as best we can within the confines / capabilities of iOS, but if we cannot make it function as intended it will likely be removed entirely.
