Autosaving the wrong URL

When I register for a new site, 1Password saves the wrong URL into the website field within the newly created login. As an example, I signed up for Simplecast.com yesterday and 1Password saved this as the website URL: https://simplecast.com/signup

The correct URL for the login page is: https://simplecast.com/signin

I often find myself clicking on "open and fill" only to be taken to the signup page or home page for that site. My current workaround is to navigate to the proper page for the login, copy that URL and then go edit the login info in 1Password.

One more example is a newly created account with Hover.com. 1Password saved this: https://www.hover.com/ when it should have been https://www.hover.com/signin

@Lee_Chapoton Thanks for your post. Sorry for the trouble you're having! When 1Password's autosave feature is triggered, it looks at the URL for the tab where the sign in was triggered. We have a couple of ideas to make this better in the future, but right now, your workaround is about the best way to fix the situation. The other approach is to not save on the registration page and wait until the next sign in to save the page to 1Password so that the entry has the most accurate URL saved.

I hope that helps explain the situation a bit.
