what is the best sync option for using ipad, iphone, and web extension browser?
Hello, I don't have a main computer i use, and would be interested in using 1password for ipad, iphone, and only web browser extension. What would be the best sync option for this use, and what platform would be my main device? (be the "main computer" essentially).

Hi @cwpjsp21!
We can definitely help you out with figuring out which sync method might be best for you! I have a couple of questions that will help us make the best recommendation possible:
- What version of iOS are you running on your iOS devices?
- When you say the "web browser extension," do you mean the extension in iOS or something else?
Thanks!

It is iOS 9.2.1. For the web browser extension, I think there is a chrome plug in? ( unless I'm not understanding it correctly) I would be using chrome with the browser plug in from a PC

Thanks for helping me understand, @cwpjsp21 :)
It sounds to me like you'd like to use 1Password on both your phone and a Windows computer (to log into websites from your browser). In order to use the browser extension, you will need to have the full 1Password app on your computer. The extension ties into the app and is unable to function on its own.
If this is the case, you have three options for making sure your data is up to date everywhere:
Dropbox is a cloud-based solution many people (myself included) rely on. For instructions on setting up your devices to sync using Dropbox, see our user guides:
iOS: Sync with Dropbox
Windows: Sync with Dropbox
If you'd rather not use a cloud-based service, you can always sync over your local Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi sync is fast, but devices have to be on the same network and 1Password has to be running on all the devices you wish to sync in order for it to work. It's not difficult by any means, but something to keep in mind :) To set up your devices to sync over Wi-Fi, start here:
Windows: Sync over Wi-Fi
The third option is to sign up with 1Password for Teams, our service which is currently in beta testing. It's a fast, reliable way to keep all of your devices up-to-date! 1Password for Teams will include a Family pricing plan (to be announced soon!), but it's free during the beta period. Additionally, price of all of the 1Password apps will be included in the subscription fee, so there's no need to spend money purchasing the apps on top of the 1Password for Teams pricing.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
