Add button on iPhone 6s Plus no longer on app

I downloaded this app and love it so much that my mom downloaded it after I was telling her about it. She has the iPhone 6s Plus. She was able to add one login, and now there is no longer an add button. What should she do? She has iOS 9.2.1.

welcome to the 1Password forum :) I am happy to help you and your mom add another item.

Could you tell me which tab your mum is on (highlighted in blue at the bottom of the screen)? I suspect that your mum currently is on Favorites. To add a new item you should go to the Categories tab instead. There you have a plus button in the upper right corner which will then let you select which type of item you want to create.

No, I made sure she was on the categories tab because at first she was on the favorites tab. But even after switching to categories she still doesn't have an add button. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, do you have any other suggestions?

Is your mum using the phone in portrait or landscape? Also is she having one or multiple vaults? You can see the vaults you have on the device by going to Settings > Vaults in 1Password.

What you could try is to force quit 1Password and restart it. To do so

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find 1Password.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
4. Tap on 1Password to open it again.
