Hacked?
I have 1Password Pro for iOS on an iPhone 6. I sync between an iPad Mini and iPhone.
I got an email from a family member, when I opened it, it had a foreign website - it looked Russian? I called the sender. He had not sent the email to me. Unfortunately, I opened 1Password on my phone. Could the hacker have seen the PW? I've since changed the gmail PW by going to Google on a separate PC. Should I change the Apple ID as well as the 1Password PWs? Would it be safe to change the PW using the iPad or can I use the iPhone? If I need to change the PW on a computer, I can use a Mac. In that case, I'd like a trial version of 1Password, because my wife, who owns the Mac, will never again use it… she's tech challenged.
Am I safe? Thanks.

Hi @JoeBert,
Thanks for taking the time to write in.
Simply receiving a suspicous email is generally not to be cause for concern. If the email appears to have come from someone you know, it is possible that person's contacts have been stolen, and it may be wise for them to take appropriate measures. For yourself I don't necessarily see anything in what you've outlined here that would indicate to me that there may be a breach on your end.
You've only ever typed your 1Password Master Password into 1Password, right? You didn't enter any of your passwords or other information on the website that was linked in the email?

That is correct, only the master PW into 1PW. Should I change my Apple ID?

@JoeBert - One thing to avoid is literally changing your Apple ID. All of your purchases from iTunes and/or the Mac App Store are tied to that Apple ID, and there is no way to move licenses over to a new Apple ID. Apple also does not permit merging of separate Apple IDs. I realize this doesn't really address your issue about suspected intrusion into your system.
If you are worried, it wouldn't hurt to change your password for your Apple ID, though.

Thanks. I changed my Apple ID PW and my Gmail PW. Anything else?
