Icons not showing up under categories > logins

Hey there,

so I'm using 1Password on Windows 10 and on iOS 9.2.1 on an iPhone 6 which are synced via Dropbox.

On Windows, all my entries under "Logins" are showing an app-specific icon in the list view. Most of these icons are automatically added by 1Password, few are manually added .icos oder .pngs by me. On iOS however, a lot of icons are missing in "Logins" view in the "Category" tab and only show the standard placeholder icon instead of the app-specific icon. The icons which are missing on iOS are all always those which are automatically fetched by 1Password on Windows. Attached you can find two screenshots to show you what I'm talking about:

I already disabled and re-enabled rich icons but that didn't help. Same with rebooting my iPhone. Do you guys have any idea what's going wrong here?

Hi Dominik ( @r4bbiz ),

Thanks for taking the time to write in with this report. Have you tried saving a login item on iOS directly? Does the correct icon appear if you do so? Have you tried doing so for any of the sites where Windows has an icon but iOS does not?

Could you please post the URLs to the websites in question? I'd like to check if we have images on the image server for them or not.

Sorry for the delay, @r4bbiz. I've asked the appropriate folks to take a look into this. Hopefully in the future we can include appropriate images for these sites on our image server so that having Rich Icons enabled will cause those images to show up.

1Password for Windows uses very small icons which it can retrieve directly from web sites. 1Password for iOS, however, uses larger icons, which most web sites do not have. We've built a repository of larger icons for web sites that we've collected over the years, and that's what 1Password for iOS uses.

I'm sorry for the discrepancy between the two. We'd like to make some progress on our own repository of icons, but our attention is currently focused on improving 1Password itself, along with 1Password for Families and Teams.
