Differences between Teams and Families
I'm a beta user for Teams - what Families looks like is a lighter version of Teams (at what seems to be a lighter price, too!).
What are the differences between the two products?
Thanks for any insight and thanks for thinking of our families!!! :)

Hi @nojazzloco,
You're exactly right :)
1Password Families is a way to use the technology we introduced with Teams at a price that’s much more affordable and with features designed for families.
Here are some specific differences:
- Families is much less expensive (5 users for $5 instead of $25).
- Teams is priced per-user (more flexible for companies).
- Teams has more advanced management capabilities.
- Teams will support custom groups.
- Teams has more storage, more days of item history, more guests.
- As the services grow they will be more differentiated, with new features specifically intended for families.\
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

And we can't wait to add them! :)

Hi!
I maybe did't keep up with the roll out of these products, as a result I have an activated working 'Teams' account when i think 'Families' would actually be more suitable for my needs (just me and the other half). What's the best way to go about moving from Teams to Families?
Cheers!

Hi, I’m also interested in the best way to migrate from a Teams account to the Family edition as it seems a much better match for what I was hoping to use this service for. any suggestions? Thanks, matt

@D0ug_G @mattberryman We'll be adding a way to do this in the future, don't worry. For now, feel free to keep using your Teams accounts and enjoy the ride. :)
