@jjoshua that depends on your security settings—and see also the Advanced security setting. Are they not sufficiently flexible to achieve what you need?

@ Stephen_C Thanks for your reaction, I am a total beginner in this ios world, and I find 1password quite difficult. I work on a Ipadpro. In the security settings I have put automatic lock at one hour. Is that what you are refering to?

Hi @jjoshua,
everyone has different security requirements for the 1Password lock settings. Personally I would recommend setting up the following:
- Settings > Security > Lock on Exit: On
- Settings > Security > Auto-Lock: 10 Minutes
- Settings > Security > Touch ID: On
- Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password: Never
This way you will only have to enter your Master Password when you restart the device. Every time you will leave the app or are inactive for 10 minutes 1Password will lock. Once you open the app again Touch ID will prompt you to authenticate.
This might not be what you want as the security settings are a personal choice depending on how much security vs convenience you need.
Hope that helps.

This is true but imposing a maximum time of 1 hour on Auto-lock is very restrictive on those people like myself who would be very relaxed about having a much longer time as an option. I am fully aware of my security situation, you are not. Give us the facility to select longer times and/or the ability to turn Auto-lock off completely.
