1Password upgrade iOS 7 to iOS 9

Currently running 1Password for iOS 4.5.3 on an iPhone 5s running iOS 7.1.2.
I would like to upgrade the phone's operating software to iOS 9.2.1.
I am happy to purchase a new version of 1Password for iOS if need be, but it is very important that I not lose the data on the upgrade.
I can't upgrade 1Password any further on the current iOS 7.
Is 1Password for iOS 4.5.3 compatible with iOS 9.2.1?
If not and I upgrade the iOS software first and then upgrade the 1Password software will my data remain whole?

Is there a way to export a copy or backup from 1Password for iOS 4.5.3 without iCloud, Dropbox, or wifi (I have none of those; remarkably my computer does not have wifi)?

1Password 6 for iOS is the same app as 1Password 4 for iOS. When you install iOS 9 1Password 6 for iOS will be offered as an update, vs a separate app, in the App Store. There is no need to manually migrate your data.

I apologize as I don't recall if these instructions on backing up apply to 1Password 4 for iOS as well, but if they do, it wouldn't hurt to do so:

Unfortunately some of our older documentation (for previous versions) has been lost in various moves.

I am glad upgrading both operating system and version will not require manual data migration.
