Password works for my 2 computers but not accepted by the program on my Iphone

1Password is installed on 2 computers and also on my Iphone. No problem with the 2 computers, but the program on my I-phone insists the password is wrong. I haven't changed the password.

When I installed 1 password on Iphone the sync was quite incomplete.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. If 1Password was not able to sync completely that could cause some difficulty. Before we go any further can you please tell me if you have any data stored on the iPhone that isn't present on your computer? Also: are you using 1Password for Mac or 1Password for Windows (or both)?

There is no data on the phone that isn't on my main computer. I'm using 1Password for Mac. And I have just confirmed that 1 Password is not syncing with my 2nd computer either. A number of changes made yesterday are not reflected in the Macbook Air

Thanks, @wmosler. What sync method are you using? I noticed in your original post you mentioned WiFi, but WiFi sync doesn't sync between computers (just between one computer and one or more mobile devices).

The two computers are syncing through a network with the home router. Is there any other way to sync them? Would they sync with Bluetooth?

The only ways to sync two instances of 1Password for Mac are Dropbox, iCloud, or Folder Sync. Dropbox or iCloud would be recommended. Folder Sync is an advanced feature and not for the light hearted (it generally involves having to use a 3rd party sync tool which you configure yourself).

(sorry, I'm forced to start over because the website just locked my first attempt) No it doesn't because I don't think I explained the problem clearly. There are 2 separate problems
1. I can't access 1 pasword on my iOS because it is refusing my password (which has not changed). it worked for a while after I installed it but only partially. Many of the files were missing and never did sync
2. I have two computers connected on an ethernet network at home. Computer #1 1PW does what it is supposed to do. But computer #2 1PW will not sync with the main computer. It is set up to use dropbox. The agilebits file is there. And both computer's 1PW program CLAIM to be syncing using Dropbox each time I log on, but in fact the files on computer #2's 1PW never change and never update.

Right. Thanks for the clarification, @wmosler. Lets get the computers syncing properly first, then we can address the issue on iOS.
