Sometimes 1Password does not prompt for my fingerprint, even though the TouchID feature is enabled
Most of the time I open 1Password on my iPhone 6, there is no TouchID option. I only see the lock icon and a prompt for my master password. I have the TouchID option turned on in the 1Password settings screen.
Fortunately, I have found a way to reproduce the problem 100% of the time:
- Start 1Password
- Open Settings
- Tap Security
- Tap the "Lock Now" button
Result: the login screen appears with no TouchID prompt, and no tiny fingerprint button under the master password text field. Even after I put 1Password in the background or force-quit the app, the TouchID option remains completely absent/disabled until I successfully log in with my master password.

Hi @daaron,
Thanks for taking the time to write to in :+1:
This is actually the expected behaviour. It is not a bug. When you tap on the "Lock Now" button, the Master Password is removed from the iOS Keychain, requiring you to re-enter it in order to re-activate Touch ID.
Hope that this helps.
Cheers!
