Bank Accounts section missing from iOS app

I was in my bank and needed some confidential information, which I had recently moved on my computer from a Secure Note to an item in the Bank Accounts section. Imagine my chagrin (panic?) when I found there was no Bank Account section.

How do I get that section onto the iOS version?

  • Hi @jasimon9,

Bank Accounts are one of the categories unlocked by purchasing the Pro features on iOS. So, the category will not show up in the listing if you have not purchased the Pro features.

That said, any items you've created on other devices, including Bank Account items, should appear under "All Items."

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

I checked "All Items" thinking that in might be there as you say. I could not find it. However, it was my error, as I was not looking under the correct name.

  • Thanks for the update. :)

  • I find it a rip off that you would take something away from users in a version "upgrade" and then charge as again to give it back. I have been using 1password for a couple of years now and have over 60 bank accounts in the Category Bank Account. Now you tell us that in order to have that category that we have to pay more money to get it back. That is not right. That is nothing short of thievery.

To be clear: any data you've already entered is still accessible in the free 1Password 6 for iOS app under the All Items category.

But if you want to use all of the features of the new version it is a paid upgrade:

    AgileBits Software Licenses

If you don't want to pay for upgrades separately we do offer a subscription service which always gives you access to the latest versions of all of our apps:

    1Password.com

    Thanks!

    Ben
