How can I delete a vault in 1password 6?

I tried applying the strategy in https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/34365/how-do-i-delete-vaults-other-questions.

I looked around for other mechanisms. I still cannot seem to get rid of an unused local vault "Kitty" (now that I am using the awesome 1password for Teams, I am super happy with that) on my Mac.

    @greening - Switch to the vault you want to delete (Kitty in your case). Then open the 1Password menu from the menu bar. The seventh live (not grayed out) option on the resulting menu will show Delete Kitty Vault...
