iPad can't add login to folder
In the 1Password app for the iPad, I selected a Login item and clicked the link to Move and Copy. Then I selected Add to Folder. A dialog box appeared asking me to select a folder, but there were no folders listed. In the main window of the app, if I tap the folder icon I can see 12 folders. The exact same behavior occurs on the iPhone version of the app. BTW, I purchased the in-app extension and was able to create folders.

Hi @Bill9999,
Thanks for writing into us here on the forums! I tried to reproduce this with the steps you provided, but I see folders each time the dialog appears. I'd like to try the following to see if it helps:
- double click the home button to bring up the multitask switcher
- swipe up on the 1Password tile, which will completely close 1Password
- click the home button to go to the home screen
- re-launch 1Password
- try the Move & Copy steps again to see if the folders list correctly
Let me know if that helps or not.

Chris, I did this (closed 1Password app and reopened it), but there was no change. I still could not see any folders. BTW, what I see is a white background with horizontal lines dividing it--as if for a list. I can swipe this list up or down and it appears to scroll, but there are no items on this folders list.
I can successfully move or copy an item to another vault. It's only the folders that are a problem. Please let me know if there's anything else I should try. Thanks.
P.S. I'm using an iPad Air (original version), WiFi only, if it matters.0 -
Sounds like it would be best for us to get a peek under the hood.
To do that, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (iOS)
Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

Oops! I found the problem. It turns out what I could see when I tapped the Folders icon was only tags. I realized what was wrong when I couldn't see any folders in the 1Password app for the Mac. I have had "All Vaults" selected, and apparently instead of showing folders by vault (this would really be a lot less confusing), 1Password just hides all the folders in this circumstance. The minute I selected a single vault, all the folders for that vault appeared.
I wonder if it would be helpful to rethink this aspect of the user interface, in case other users are as confused as I was. You might show a message saying "Please select a single vault to see its folders" or something. If the user tries to add an item to a folder, even if All Vaults is in effect, I think it would be helpful to show a list of all the folders belonging to the vault where that item is stored.
