Using 1Password to store misc. hardware details
Do does anyone use 1Password to store hardware details?
Serial number, model number, date of purchase, receipt/order number, warranty info, MAC address, firmware version, tech support number, etc. is all useful information to have in one location for any given device. I have been creating a Secure Note for each product, but I'm wandering if anyone have a better organization method for their hardware?

@brandonhines: I absolutely do! I also store these in Secure Notes (usually multiple items per note to keep things from getting unwieldy, such as one for computer hardware, one for appliances, etc.) But if one item per device works for you...if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!

It's a great read, and it will probably give you some additional ideas. I think the most important thing is that you find what works best for you — and it sounds like you have! If you want to get really crazy, you can incorporate tags too. ;)
