Hi @mawhyte,
You should be able to apply the iOS license to any copy of 1Password which was installed with the AppleID that you purchased the in app purchase with. You should be able to "restore purchase" without issue to get any iPhone / iPad running with the premium features.
It sounds as if you have purchased the Mac license which you can install on any of your computers by applying the license file. You purchased for 1Password 5 but that is also valid for 1Password 6. You can get a copy of your license file if you go to this page and submit your email address in the form. It has to be the address you associated with buying the license. You will receive your license in your email.

Thanks Nathan, for this fast reply. I tried to restore purchases with your link and while I never received a mail and a license, the flag that announced that my trial has expired did disappear.
But perhaps you could explain what I bought in Feb and Sept 2015? What I know is that I made 2 payments to AgileBits in 2015. All my versions of 1Password seem to be from the first AgileBits purchase (February 2015) so perhaps the AppStore license was never 'applied. '
Still, everything works and there are no more strange flags. Is there an annual fee or do I now own 1Password (and the right to upgrade) for ever?Best, Michael

It seems as though you made an unnecessary purchase in September (unless you wanted to change from an educational licence).
The purchase in February was 1PW5, according to the information you have given (I am a volunteer, so I cannot check your order; Nathan or another AgileBits staff member will have to do that). The upgrade to 1PW6 was free, and used the same licence.
The problem with your September purchase is that it was from the App Store. Apple do not pass information about purchases to developers, so AgileBits have never known about this purchase until your post above.
Strictly speaking you ought to ask for a refund from Apple, but the purchase was so long ago that I doubt if they can do anything. Whether AgileBits can help you further I don't know.
Your licence covers all versions of 1PW6 on your Mac (and earlier) for ever, with no extra payments needed. When 1PW7 comes in, there might be an upgrade price, it's too soon to tell. But 1PW6 won't stop working when 1PW7 comes in. The only time you are forced to upgrade is when a new version of Mac OS comes in and for some reason it breaks 1PW. But, for instance, even 1PW3 has worked up to OS 10.10 though is problematic under 10.11.

Many thanks for taking time on this, danco and penderworth. I will remember to go directly to AgileBits in the future.
