1Password Crashes after update to v6.3.1
I just updated to v6.3.1 from the App Store last night and now 1Password crashes immediately. It crashes so fast I don't even have time to tap the Send Report button.
Here's what I've done to troubleshoot so far: quit all apps from background, including 1Password. Power off iPhone (6s). Wait 30 seconds and power back on. (I completely powered it off as opposed to just sleep/lock).
Usually this fixes apps behaving badly, but it did not in this case.
The Safari 1Password extension still works when logging in to a site, but I can not get the app to launch.
What should I do? I'm hesitant to delete the app and reinstall it because I have a lot of vaults I'll need to reconnect. I live in 1Password so I'm nervous about how to triage the problem further. Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Do you have your data synced to another device? Perhaps by iCloud or Dropbox? Or, have you made a specific backup of the 1Password data to iTunes, using these directions: Creating and restoring 1Password backups in iTunes (iOS)? If the answers to any of these questions is Yes, you'd be safe to delete 1Password from your iOS device, restart it, and download the application again, using the same Apple ID you used to get it in the first place. (That's important if you have purchased the Pro features.)
If the answers to all of those questions are No, then do not delete the application. If you do, all of your data will disappear with the applications, in the same way that applies to the deletion of any iOS application. Please let us know more about the specifics of your situation.

Yes, I have 1Password installed on my Mac, iPad and another Mac. It's probably safe to delete/reinstall but I wanted to check first to make sure that's what I should do.
Not sure if this contributed or not and may be a coincidence, but last night I was using Watchtower to help me clean up some duplicates. I wonder if I taxed the Dropbox sync and that's why it's mad at me?

Same thing happened to me...froze during the update download. Quite a super pain in the posterior!! After downloading the app, it won't recognize my team password. Nada. I get the QR code from my 1P for Mac, then enter my password (same I use for the Mac for this team), but it tells me "Invalid Login Information. We are unable to verify your credentials. Please make sure your username, password, and account key are correct."

Ok I DID IT! I'm back with all 1,554 items synced back to my iPhone. I made sure I could access everything without issue on my iPad then took a deep breath and then deleted 1Password from my iPhone then immediately reinstalled it from the iOS App Store. Getting all my vaults back was pretty straightforward because it talks to the Dropbox app already installed and authenticated with Touch ID. Since I keep a copy of the master password to a shared vault with yet copies of each of the master passwords for all the other vaults, I was able to copy and paste those master passwords when needed to sync them from the other Dropbox keychains.
Luckily, since I teach my senior citizen clients how to use 1Password, it means I've configured the Settings countless times so I remembered what all my settings were for font, clipboard, enabling Touch ID, etc.
While scary and a major inconvenience that my 1Password was crashing on my way out to a gig, it's wholly reassuring that I just needed to breathe and devote some time later today to take the plunge and get it back up and going. It felt like my right hand was severed for a bit there! Luckily I wasn't on the spot and in the need to demo 1P at my gig today! On the brightside, now I'll know how to rescue a client if this ever happens to them. Plus, my 1Password setup is extremely complex with multiple vaults so if I can get back to it, ANYONE can.
WHEW!!!!! I feel quite accomplished right now! :)

Really glad to hear you were able to get things sorted, @TheMacMommy!
@pdboyer, can you please send us a diagnostics report? Instructions can be found here:
(iOS) Sending Diagnostics Reports
Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that it is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

I can't even get into my app because it's no longer recognizing the password. I was previously using the fingerprint security to get into 1P. So, sending a diagnostic report is quite impossible. I'm totally locked out.

Your Master Password is the only way to decrypt your data. Please check out this guide:
(iOS) My Master Password is not being accepted. What should I do?
Thanks!

The problem is that the master password IS being accepted by 1P for Mac and 1P for iOS on my iPhone...it's just the iPad that won't accept it. Even when I delete 1P from the iPad, shut off the iPad, then download it anew from the App store, when I then use the QR code from my Emergency Kit to open my team vault, that very same password will not open the vault! It's crazy!! How could a fresh installation of 1P not recognize the master password that IS recognized by iPhone and 1P for Mac???

Yep.

Have you tried manually entering your details, vs scanning the QR code, on the iPad?

I'm in. I had to send a new invitation and set up another user on my team before I could get it to work. Would NOT ever want to reproduce that trial and error scheme! Let's hope the cause of this (whether the App Store or 1P) is determined and doesn't put anyone else through it.
