Beta 70 Release Notes
This weekend saw Daylight Savings time start here in Canada... giving us an extra hour that day, and boy what we did with that extra time! We have an incredible beta coming your way with a host of new and exciting features.
Remember that time you accidentally deleted those items and were desperate to get them back. Well, we have great news for you. Click on the Trash > View Archived Items button in the Vault view and you can restore them, good as new.
Did you want to add your child to a vault, but don't want them changing all the passwords on you? Well, we've also added vault permissions in 1Password Families. Now you can share a vault with your family members as either View only or Allow Editing.
You can even add new text Sections and Fields to your 1Password items in our Vault view editor.
So as you can see, we put that extra hour to incredible use and came up with all sorts of awesome new features. I really hope you enjoy them. :)
Wait, what... you mean that we lost an hour with Daylight Savings instead of gaining one? Well then, I have absolutely no idea how we got all this incredible work done. Magic. It must have been magic.
Here is what is new in Beta 70:
- [NEW] Deleted vault items can now be restored. (In the Trash section of a vault, you'll see a "View Archived Items" button.) {862}
- [NEW] Family accounts can now assign Read Only or Edit access to vaults. {1126}
- [NEW] You can now add new sections and fields to your items in vault view. {650, 651}
- [IMPROVED] Using a better style for group role selection, specifically, better than a menu inside a menu. :)
- [IMPROVED] Uploading and viewing Document items is now supported in Safari and Firefox. (Previously, only Chrome and Opera were supported.) {434, 1157}
