New Login frequent username feature

It would be very convenient if there was a feature that allowed you to select from common user names and/or email address when creating a new login item. It would be nice not to have to type the same email address repeatedly. I probably could copy and paste it from another entry but being able to select from a list would be even better.

    Hi @allison2554766,

welcome to the 1Password forum :)

Thank you for taking the time to share with how we can make your 1Password experience better. This is a great idea and I will pass this along to the development team and they will consider it for future versions.

    Hi,

I came to this forum to request this feature, glad I searched first :).

I'd like to second this request, although I'd go a bit further. It would be great to have a feature that allows me to have a default username, then fills in a new account sign in form with that default username and a password generated with my current generator settings. Accessing this feature would make creating an account as easy as it is to log in to my existing accounts now!

Thank you so much for your product btw. 1Password is awesome!

EDIT: Apologies, I just realized that this post is under iOS. I'll repost in the appropriate forum.

Thanks for the kind words! I can't make any promises, but it's definitely a feature we can consider adding in the future. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Sure would love to see this in iOS. Even a single default username would be amazing. Many apps require email address as the username. It really seems silly to have to type in the same email address over and over.

  • Thanks for the suggestion, @emes. We do offer the Identities category which can store and fill registration information. Does that help?
