1Password for iOS 5.0.2

I have been using Dropbos but want to return to wifi syncing. Since I don't want to risk corrupting files or data, I'd like to know the exact steps to take to setup wife syncing between my MacBook Pro, IPad, and iPhone. Many thanks. Jay

    @ravjay1 -

    Have you had a chance to consult this page? Switching from cloud sync to Wi-Fi Sync

    Note that I've linked to the Mac version of these directions, but you can click on the iOS icon in the article to switch to that side.

    Once you've looked that over, let us know what questions you still have.

    Actually, after reading your post, I want to go to the Apple App Store and buy their versions of 1Password and enable iCloud sync between my Mac and iOS devices. I do this only because I am unable to set up two-step verification on Dropbox and their support leaves a great deal to be desired. I am not comfortable using Dropbox without it. I already use iCloud storage, so there is no new investment there as well as the added security. I don't have the slightest idea of how to go about this without compromising my existing 1Password data. Guidelines appreciated.

    If you already have a copy of 1Password for Mac, you do not need to buy a copy from the Mac App Store. Instead, upgrade your copy to version 6, which is free and has the ability to sync with iCloud from the AgileBits web store version.

    Directions for this switch are here: How do I switch to iCloud sync if I’m already syncing with Dropbox or Wi-Fi?

    Hi @ravjay1,

    I hope hawkmoth's replies were helpful! As he explained, you don't need to purchase 1Password from the Mac App Store in order to get iCloud sync - just install the update for version 6 (in the main 1Password app, go to 1Password > Check for Updates in the menu bar).

    If you need more help switching to iCloud sync or have other questions, please let us know. We're here for you! :)
