Sync error "failed to download file from dropbox"

Hello,

On iOS, when i try to sync i have an error message saying "Impossible de télécharger le fichier depuis Dropbox." (It's because i use french language but it means "Failed to download file from dropbox")

(i used X to hide real codes)

  • If i check on my dropbox the file exists and i'm able to download it from dropbox.com, so i don't understand why it cannot sync.

  • I tried export>import my content into a fresh new vault : still have the error

  • I tried delete all 1 password content on iOS and resync my vault : still have the error

(I see my content, so the sycnc is partially working but i have this error)

    @juju12: Sorry for the trouble! Sometimes when there's a lot of activity, Dropbox will throttle the connection, resulting in that error. Please try again and it should work — usually after 10 minutes or so. If you're still having trouble, be sure to verify your Dropbox setup, as that will help narrow things down:

    But what I suggested above is almost certainly the cause, and will clear itself up. Please let me know how it turns out! :)

    Hi, thanks for the reply

    • It's not a temporary quota related issue because i still have this error

    • I checked that dropbox and 1 password setups are correct on Windows, it is.

    • I tried "repair" the vault file>repair, it says no need to repair.

    I solved the problem

    • I have deleted Dropbox and 1Password apps from Windows and iOS,

    • I have deleted all allowed devices on dropbox.com.

    • Reinstalled everything and re-allow access.

    • Now it works !

    I don't know why this solved the problem.
