I have installed 1Password and have entered and saved 45 individual sites and logins but can I now just find the one I want, click on it and have it open that site for me? It does not , so I have to look at the saved info UN and PAss and then go out of 1Password, type in the site in address bar and then manually enter the UN and Pass. I thought it was/is supposed to do all this for me quickly and efficiently once I selected it in the saved logins so can you instruct me pleased? How do I make it work for me? Frank

  • Hi Frank ( @Seniorman ),

Thanks for taking the time to write in!

I'm sorry to hear you're having some difficulty getting started with 1Password. We have an instructional guide on how to use it available here:

    Introduction | 1Password for iOS

In general there are two main ways to get 1Password to fill your credentials for you. The first happens in Safari, using the 1Password extensions:

Use the extension | 1Password for iOS

The second happens directly within 1Password, using our built-in web browser ("1Browser"):

    Use 1Browser | 1Password for iOS

Personally I find using Safari to be much more convenient, but there is no reason you can't use 1Browser, or both.

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Ben
