However, the Draft section appears empty. Please clear the (1) from the Draft area.

The problem is solved by posing this message! How strange!

    @wkleem: That is really strange! I know sometimes one of my drafts is cleared when I finally reply to a thread I didn't realize I had a draft in...but in your case this is a brand new discussion. Baffling! Be sure to let us know if you run into this again. :dizzy:

    Hi Brent,

    I recollect clearing the contents of some discussion some time ago which would have been saved to Drafts at some point. THE Drafts(1) survives the clearing of discussion content? I assumed that it wouldn't

    @wkleem: It shouldn't, but stranger things have happened. If and when it does, don't do anything and let us know. It might help the forum software developers to track down a bug. :)
