Can you use iCloud sync with other family members?

I have Apple Family Sharing turned on. My Wife and I share one keychain between us. Currently we use Dropbox to sync our keychain. If I move it to sync via iCloud, will it still sync between use even though she has her own Apple ID?

No, Apple has not made the appropriate items available to share iCloud documents between different ID's.

For now it may be best to retain Dropbox. Having said that, many know I have been a Dropbox champion for years. I have to say I am in love with Families and Team accounts now being offered by 1Password to allow easier and better sharing. Syncing on those accounts is provided by 1Password servers. * These new syncing account types from 1Password are subscription based. I do not get any benefit from suggesting it to you.

If that interests you ? More info can be found at 1Password.com or here https://support.1password.com/teams/

@fbmoniz3: Indeed, it is not possible to share data between iCloud accounts, but 1Password Families is designed for just that: sharing important information with our loved ones securely:

Thanks, I'm been using Dropbox for years and I'll just continue with that for now.

  • Okay, thanks for the update. :)
