If so please let me know which step of which guide you're having trouble with, and what specifically the trouble is.

The link is to support.1password.com (numeral "one"), not support.ipassword.com (alpha "eye"). Perhaps that is the problem, if you are trying to type the links manually?
Otherwise you may want to try a different internet connection. The links open fine on my systems.
