Welcome to the last build of Q1-2016, can you believe that a full 3 months of 2016 has already passed! I am still writing 2015 whenever I write the date. Well, at least we have a very nice update to wish the first quarter goodbye and welcome in April.

Have you been wanting to change your Master Password? Well now we give you that chance. Simply go to your Profile within the web application and select Change Master Password. Remember that you will have to re-sign in to your 1Password accounts on your various devices.

A few builds ago we introduced the ability to add new custom fields to your items in the Vault View. Today's build allows you to change those fields to any type of custom field, watch below and be amazed.

Here is what is new in Build 84:

  • [NEW] You can now change your Master Password and regenerate your Account Key from your profile. {110}
  • [NEW] In vault view, you can now change the field type (from Text to Password, for example). {652}
  • [IMPROVED] Clarified description of Personal and Shared vaults. {1303}
  • [FIXED] A bug where you could activate your account more than once and end up with duplicate vaults and groups {1298}
  • [FIXED] Fixed a case where the "Empty Trash" and "View Archived Items" buttons would overlap. {1306}
