Disappeared data following upgrade to latest version of 1password on IOS
The most recent app store update of 1Password on my iPad3 (which has the current IOS 9.3) resulted in all data which I had stored in my 1Password disappear. When I opened the new 1Password download I was instead asked to create a new password. The only option offered by the latest version of 1Password was to sync, but I do not use sync facilities. I also tried to restore a backup which I have on my Windows iTunes (I sync between the windows laptop by cable to the iPad), but the iTunes backup cannot be seen by the iPad's 1Password. I have therefore deleted the iPad's 1Password and still have the backup data on my Windows iTunes. How do I restore this backup onto my iPad's 1Password (there is presently no 1Password on the iPad) so that I can restore my data on to the iPad? Charles

@COOD: I'm sorry to hear that happened during the App Store update process. I'm glad you had a backup! I've never actually heard of something like that happening before. :(
Given the bizarre nature of the problem you encountered, yo may want to consider contacting Apple. But at the very least, be sure to power off the iPad completely and restart it before doing anything else. Often that will resolve stance App Store update/download/install issues. Then download a fresh copy of 1Password from the App Store, setup a new vault with the same Master Password, and then restore from the backup:
1Password restore (iOS)
Please let me know how it turns out. I look forward to hearing back from you!
