My folders are not syncing

I have 2 iOS devices (and iPad 2 and an iPhone 6s) and 2 Macs all running the latest version of 1Password (6) syncing one vault in Dropbox. At some point in the past I changed the names of 2 folders and deleted a folder. One Mac and the iPad show the same folders with the same items in each folder. The second Mac folders have different (older) names and the folder that was deleted is still there. The iPhone has the same older names as the second Mac but doesn't have the complete group of items that are in folders of all the other devices.

How is this happening?

I turned off and then turned Dropbox syncing on the phone and the 2nd Mac without change in behavior.

1Password Version: 6.1
Extension Version: (610005)
OS Version: 10.11.4
Sync Type: Dropbox

Oh yes. The iPad is on iOS 9.2.1 and the iPhone is on 9.3.1

I just deleted 1Password from my iPhone and reinstalled it and Dropbox vault synced. Still no change in folder names (still shows the older names) but the items in each folder are now correct.

OK, I guess I fixed it.

I changed the folder names on the second Mac manually and deleted the folder no longer in use. The folders on my phone immediately changed.

I still can't figure out why though.

  • That is quite the noggin scratcher, @yoyo222. I can't say I ever recall hearing of a case quite like that. Unfortunately I don't have an explanation for why that might've happened, but I'm glad to hear you were able to come up with a solution!

If there is anything else we can do, please don't hesitate to contact us.
