Hello @cimboc,
The rather confusing message you're getting from Safari is because the 1Password Safari Extension is already installed. Do you see the icon to the left of the Safari address bar? that's the 1Password icon. Safari won't allow you to install a second copy of the extension but unfortunately rather than saying the extension is already installed and enabled it just says there was an error.
Given the extension is installed and enabled, are you having other difficulties with it?

Ok thanks, yep the icon is there and I am able to autofill passwords etc but for some reason when entering a new sites password it is currently not asking me if I want to save it in 1Passowrd. I assumed I must have had an outdated version sense the update.

Hi @cimboc,
If filling is working then the extension is definitely working. If the issue is just with being asked if you want to save a new Login item let's check one of 1Password's preferences.
- Open 1Password and enter 1Password's preferences.
- Switch to the Browser tab.
The bottom option, the one titled Automatically ask to save new Logins, is it enabled or disabled? If disabled we may have found the cause and hopefully enabling it will result in 1Password asking when it should. If not we'll have to continue the troubleshooting with you.
